Bonnie C. Marinaro

Bonnie C. Marinaro, 86, of Des Moines, died August 26, 2011 at her home.  She was born April 12, 1925 in Pollock, Missouri to Amber and John Miller.
She was a homemaker and in later years worked and retired from Meredith Publishing.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. 
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic G. Marinaro, Sr. and a brother and two sisters.
She is survived by her sons Dominic (Pearl) G., Jr., John (Connie) A., Gary (Charlene) L., and Tom (Toni) E. Marinaro; daughter Mary (Galen) L. Kurth; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Avenue, with burial following at Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Foundation.
