Ralph Dale Tracy

Ralph Tracy, 80, was born February 14, 1931, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Anna (Lindbloom) Tracy.  He passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 18, 2011 of heart failure at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. 
Tracy is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, LaVon.  He was also the loving father of 6 children, Nancy Wadsworth of Windsor Heights, Jerry (Shirley) Williams of Ankeny, Duane (Jackie) Williams of Joplin, Missouri, Randy Williams of Des Moines, Janice Williams of Des Moines and David Tracy of Bend, Oregon. Tracy will also be missed by his twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many wonderful friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; two sisters; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.  Family will greet friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Capitol Hill Christian Church in loving memory of Ralph Tracy.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I always liked to visit wiht Ralph at church dinners. He always made me feel at ease and I enjoyed his company. I know it will take a long time to fill the void of his loss. I will pray for you and your family now and in the weeks to come.

Lavon I send my deepest Sympathy to you. Uncle Ralph will be missed. I remember the times when Dad and Mom would bring us up to visit and Uncle Ralph would drag us around in the snow with the lawn tractor and a sled, He was a fun person. To the family of my Uncle Ralf.Ralf is going to be missed Greatly. Some of my foundes memerys was going to Iowa with by Parents( Raymond and Norma Tracy)and staying with Uncle Ralf.He would pull us around the place on the riding morer and in the morring the would fix us beer pancake.I can still remember asking my mother can i eat them?And will i get drunk and Uncle Ralf would laugh out loud and tell me on the yeast in the beer just makes the pancakes rise.So we will all miss him.My deapest Sympathy for the family Love you aunt Lavon Love you all Cindy(Tracy) Herndon
