Marianne Beu

Marianne Beu, 76, was born August 12, 1935 in Carthage, Missouri and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Marianne is survived by her husband, Jim “Sam” Beu; children, David (Nancy) McConnell, Carrie Delphia, Angela (Jim) Eastridge, Denise (Joe) Bocock, Mike (Kathy) McConnell, Danielle (Tony) Ammeter and Heather (Don) Flower; grandchildren, Matt, A.J., Emori, Tiffany, Courtney, Amanda, Jeremy, Zachary, Max and Alex; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Gardner; other loving relatives and many special friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Gardner; mother and step-father, Oma and Mike Grundler and her granddaughter, Megan McConnell.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Adventure Life Church, 1700 8th St. SW in Altoona.  The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Marianne.

Grandma marianne, i love u so much. I wish i couldve seen u before u left us, but i get a chance to talk to u regardless u couldnt reply back, i still talked to u. You r missed and loved.

I'm remembering all the times I shared with Marianne, while working at Discount Pharmacy. Those were good days. I know what a family person she was! My heartfelt thoughts of sympathy are with her whole family. I hope it helps to know that others care and share your loss. She touched all of us in her own personal way.
