Joann Bekish

Joann Bekish, 70, was born January 20, 1942, in Des Moines, the daughter of Archie and Dorothy (Hobbs) Bekish. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Taylor House.

Joann is survived by her sons, Chester Greenup, Jr., Timothy Bekish, Rickey Bekish and William John Bekish; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Greenup, Sr.; her daughter, Margo Greenup, and her parents.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with visitation one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
