Dear Bob and Judy, We were so sorry to see in paper that Evelyn had died. We will always remember the kindness you all showed our family while we were at Simpson. We all loved Evelyn and the great lady she was. We miss seeing all of you since we don't get to DES Moines much anymore. We though we would of liked to come for funeral tomorrow but now they say we might get snow. We don't go far if there is a chance of bad roads. We want you to know our thought will be with you. Love, Weldon and Marilyn Whitenack.

We have known Evelyn for about 10 years. During that time, I don't believe we have ever heard her talk negative about anyone or anything. Not a cross word came out of her mouth. In her final year and a half, she didn't initiate alot of conversations. But when we would bring our granddaughter to church, Evelyn's eyes would light up and come over and start talking to the baby. You could tell it took her to a happy place. We are glad to have made her smile again. Thanks for the memories Evelyn. You will be missed. Neal and Terri
