Service Details
Dolareze Allen, 80, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Prairie Hills Assisted Living. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 2 at the funeral home.
Dolareze was born November 11, 1931 in Colfax, IA to Glen and Odetha Schnathorst. She was a homemaker and a member of Ft. Des Moines Open Bible Church.
Dolareze is survived by her children, Teri (Mark) Ridnour, Donny (Marlene) Allen, Jill (Jeff) Reeves; grandchildren, Erica (Mike) Davis, Amber (Donnie) Williams, Ryan Reeves, Kelsie Reeves, Shelby Reeves, Donny Canter, Gabe Allen, Ben Canter, six great grandchildren; siblings, Leroy (Fern) Schnathorst, Ladonna (Dean) Curtis, Opal (Darrell) Walker, Ivan (Barbara) Schnathorst, Emlin (Dianne) Schnathorst, and Pearl (Mike) Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nila Schnathorst and her husband, Donald Allen.
Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Hospice.

I am sorry for the loss of your sister. May the memories of good times together soften your grief. I remember Dolareze as a hard working teenager helping take care of the younger chidlren and the family home.
