Rodolfo Maciel, 20, of Des Moines passed away on June 11, 2014. He was born on August 31, 1993 in Los Angeles, California to Noemy Pacheco and Jose Rodolfo Maciel Gallegos.
Rodolfo enjoyed the outdoors, running and was very active. He would go out of his way to help others and had aspirations of becoming an entrepreneur and joining the Marines.
He is survived by his parents, siblings and many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines with a funeral service at 6 PM.
Burial will follow at 12:15 PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

My condolences to the family of Rodolfo Maciel. I am truly at a lost for words like many of Rodolfo's family and friends. He was a young man whom I grew fond of during his time getting himself together from mistakes he made as a youngster. I grew to respect him and the changes he was making to better himself while he was at Woodward Academy. I truly pray for his family and friends that God comforts them at this time.
