Mobe was my geometry teacher at Franklin Junior High. When I started teaching at North in 1989, we became colleagues. I valued his wisdom and dedication to our students, especially those struggling with drug and alcohol issues. He was a wonderful friend and mentor.

Being raised by a single mother, I adopted Mr. Moberly as one of my three adult male figures and role models while I attended North in the mid-80's. It was learning from him that originally set me on a desire to be a high school math teacher and one day possibly return to North to teach. While I never ended up being a math teacher - I can say his influence and his wisdom never left me. Thank you, Mr. Moberly, for all you taught me - not just math or computers - but about life and living it well.
