As the week comes to a close I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful messages you have left; we are working on getting dates and times for dads celebration of life set in stone as we had a run in regarding life insurance and etc but now that that is taken care of for the time being it is one of our priorities as we know the few friends he did have were the closest of friends and his co-workers were his 2nd family so hopefully by mid next week we'll post a time/date and place and notify Kara in HR to let all co-workers know as well. Thank you also to all those who have stopped by the house to pay your respects, it was nice to put faces with some of the names.

Sad to hear that you have left us for a better place my friend. You were a good person and an even better co-worker. This one will take some time to grasp that you are gone. May God keep you and those you are with now cherish you, just as we will here on Earth.

For those wondering, a celebration of Mike's life will be held! We are trying to figure out some logistics first but there will be something for his friends. A private visitation was held for family only. Stay tuned for details and an obit in the paper

It is really sad that someone can be so selfish to not have a service for his friends and what's left of his family. I believe what mike told me is true now. Sad to see my buddy go. May god take care of him from this day forward. You were my best friend and I will always love you as a good friend.

A good man, a great person to work with....He will be sorely missed by his many friends at Firestone. Condolences to the family. Remember this:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die
