Judy Pendry Fraser

Judith “Judy” Ann Pendry Fraser, 76, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Parkridge Nursing & Rehab Center in Pleasant Hill.
Judy was born December 13, 1937 in Des Moines. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended UNI and DMACC. Judy was a nurse for Crystal Inc. and The Blood Center of Central Iowa. After retirement, she returned to work for her son at Fraser Ambulance and Wheelchair Service. Judy enjoyed her family, friends, her dog, Buddy and reading.
Judy is survived by her children and grandchildren, Carol (Brian) Jones of Redfield, Julie Fraser (Todd Schmitz) of Festus, MO and her children, Aaron and Kasey, Jan Fraser of Des Moines and her children, DJ, Kelsey and Mickayla, Chris (Kim) Fraser of Des Moines and their daughter, Amber, Neal Fraser of Norwalk and his children, Jessica, Bobby and Matt, John (Renee) Fraser of Norwalk and their children, Nick, Will and Jina, and Eric Fraser of Norwalk and his children, Laura and Ryan and great-granddaughter, Chanel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Richard Q. Fraser; her parents, Robert and Irene Pendry; and her brothers, Jim and Don Pendry.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in loving memory of Judy.
**Due to the road construction on SW 9th Street, the entrance to the funeral home is off of Fleur or SW 14th Street to Kenyon heading east**
