Alyssa was the sunshine in her family’s life. Born September 11, 2002, she was sweet and funny with a great sense of humor. She was a little social butterfly who spread joy wherever she went. Alyssa loved drawing and taking selfies. She was a special 12 year old who like playing video games and loved animals.
She will be forever missed and loved by her dad, Damian Morgan; her mom, Nicole Morgan; and her siblings, Livy, Adam and Rachel. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandparents, David and Debra Hanson and Clay and Liz Morgan and her great-grandparents, Mae Countryman and Maria and Juanquin Castro.
Alyssa tragically left this earth far too soon on Thursday, April 9, 2015. The family respectfully asks for privacy while they celebrate Alyssa’s life and mourn her passing. There will be no public services held at this time.

Alyssa was a amazing person and friend. I love her so much and I can't believe she's gone. She. made me laugh she mad my days better. We made jokes about weird/funny things. She would light up my day. I'm going to miss her. She was my pineapple buddy and my bubbles. She is beautiful, nice, funny, her hair is pretty. I'll see Alyssa you again some day .

I had the pleasure of having Alyssa in my 7th Grade Geography class at Southeast Polk Junior High this year. It's with a heavy heart that I'm expressing my condolences for her and her family. I enjoyed getting to know Alyssa this year and I'm grateful I had her, and her contagious smile, in classroom. My sincerest condolences are expressed for her and her family in this time of grieving.
