Janice M. Maurer

Janice M. Maurer went to be with Jesus on October 16, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Charles E. and M. Irene Gregg. Janice, also known as Granny was 74 and was born in rural Dallas County and attended Adel High School. Janice loved playing bingo, reading, watching NASCAR races, television, Kingsol, circle a word books, and picking up cans (she used the money for the Iowa State Fair).
She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Michael) Sudbrock, Jacqueline Knapp and Ginger (Dan) Kromrie; sisters, Judy (Leon) Dagget and Sue Martin; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her son, Byron D. Rogers; husband, Eugene D. Lipp; brothers, Robert C. Gregg and Clarence E. (Beach) Gregg; and sister, Carolyn I. Moreland.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at West Linn Cemetery in Linden, Iowa.

My deepest condolences to "Granny's " family. I had the pleasure of meeting her a few times over the years and remember her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Very sweet woman that was lucky enough to have such a loving family surrounding her. God bless her soul
