Michael John Bernard, Sr

Mike Bernard Sr.,53, of Des Moines died on January 3, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Mike had a love for motorcycles and cars, enjoyed shooting pool, listening to music and spending time with family, friends and his dog Dozer. Mike was a maintenance worker at I.P.C. Inc. He is survived by his wife Sally, his daughter Misty (Tray) Martin of Des Moines, his son Micheal (Tammy) Bernard Jr. of Des Moines; his siblings Josie (Jim) Will, Beverly Bernard, Tony Bernard and Theresa (Ron) Rush; his beloved in-laws Rose Marie Collins, Mary Wolinski, Judy Cunningham, Charlene (Gary) McNew, Larry (Kim) Collins and Ray and Debbie Triplett; his four grandchildren Tony, Jerrica, Stacee and Keegan; his great grandchild Jaquoreya as well as all of his special nieces and nephews that meant a lot to him. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Beverly Bernard as well as his brothers Steve and Sam. His family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Monday. Funeral services will be held at Noon at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
