Darlene Mc Ley

Darlene McLey was born February 10, 1953. She passed away November 10, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center at the age of 64. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the homestead, Mary Juran’s house. Call 641-931-0732 for information.

Darlene enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening and camping. She was a great cook.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Doug McLey, Sr.; children, Sara (Ronald) Rimmer, Scott McLey, Jacob McLey, Crystal McLey and Doug McLey, Jr.; siblings, Vern Gill, Sam Gill and Dan (Cindy) Gill; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Margaret Gill and her sister-in-law, Joan Gill.
