Raymond Smith

Raymond E. Smith, 65, passed away April 15, 2018 at Unity Point Methodist. Per his request, his body has been cremated and no services are planned.

Raymond was born December 4, 1952 in Iowa City. He graduated from East High School in Des Moines. Raymond had been a security guard for The Conley Group, Inc. He enjoyed playing chess and was a member of the Chess Club Federation. Raymond was an avid sports fan and loved playing baseball and tennis.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 30 years, Margo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Peters.
