Norma Jean Johnson

Norma Jean Johnson, 82, passed away May 7, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. No services are planned.

Norma was born February 22, 1936 in Des Moines to Elmer and Darlene Shepherd. She graduated from East High School in 1954. She loved flower gardening, crocheting, quilting and baking.

Norma is survived by her husband of 61 years, Walter Johnson; daughter, Patricia; grandchildren, Michael (Kelsay) Johnson and Diane (Russell) Paul; four great-grandchildren; brothers, James Shepherd and Robert (Bengie) Shepherd; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Johnson; brothers, Paul and Raymond Shepherd; and her parents.
