Service Details
Lorene E. Tuinstra, 95, died April 10, 2009. Graveside service will be 10 AM Monday at Rising Sun Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday at the Altoona Funeral Home.
She is survived by her children, Carla (Phil) Johnson, David (Jerri) Tuinstra, Darlene (Don) Townsend, Darrell (Hiltrud) Tuinstra; 12 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Lorene is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Altoona Christian Church, Franklin Avenue Christian Church, or Taylor House Hospice.

This is my great grandmother. She had a heart of gold and will miss her dearly. She lived a long full life and I am glad to have had her in my life and my family's life. She was such a vibrant woman and full of life. :)She will be missed by many but God enjoys her company now and that is the way she always wanted it.
