Ralph Virgil Fetters, Jr.

Ralph Virgil Fetters, Jr., 69, died Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center.
Ralph was born May 5, 1940 in Des Moines to Ralph and Dorothy (Harrison) Fetters, Sr. He was a lifelong Des Moines resident. Ralph owned the USA Flagpole Service.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Anne Fetters, sons, Scott (Robbie) Fetters and Kelly Fetters; daughter, Tonya Fetters; brother, Ivan (Carolyn) Fetters; sister, Colleen (Marion) Bales; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin and his sister, Karen Moss.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ralph was a volunteer with the Muscular Dystrophy Association for over 20 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the MDA in loving memory of Ralph.
