I always enjoyed visiting with Al at hamfests here and there and a special visit not too long ago at his house. I especially enjoyed his pride in the Collins radios he shared with me and the history behind them. I am sorry for all. Wade WB0OKA

I was sad to hear of Allens passing. He was one of the first persons I got to know when moving to Des Moines in 1979. Always willing to help, always a friend. Another good soul leaves us. Take care.
