Fanny Loffredo

Fanny Madeline Loffredo, 93, was born September 5, 1916 in Des Moines, the daughter of Mike and Josephine (Pizzuto) Franceschine. She passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Mercy Hospice Johnston. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Fanny enjoyed cooking, gardening and cross stitching, as well as walking at the mall with special friends. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.
Fanny is survived by her children, Larry (Carolyn) Loffredo, Carolyn (Albert) Coakley and David (Debby) Loffredo; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Alfonso Loffredo; her son, Ralph Albert Loffredo; her grandchildren, Albert Coakley and Jennifer Coakley; her sister, Emily Palladino and her parents.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St., with a rosary service to begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice of Johnston in loving memory of Fanny.
