Brenda L. Carpenter

Brenda Carpenter, 47, passed away at her home January 17, 2011.

Brenda was born December 8, 1963, in Des Moines. She built her life around children and was a childcare provider for over 20 years. Brenda enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, motorcycle riding and putting together puzzles.

Brenda is survived by her children, Archie Carpenter Jr., James Carpenter, Dustin Elswick and Maddison Bosier; mother, Patricia Weir; siblings, Robert, Rodney, Rusty and Shayna Weir; cousin, Dawn Mills; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Bosier.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Eagles Lodge, 6567 Bloomfield Road in Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
