Nash Andres Anousis was born on June 25, 2010, in Des Moines, the son of James and Amanda Anousis. He was a happy baby that loved his frogs. On June 10, 2011, Nash received his angel wings and a perfectly healthy heart. He is playing with his relatives, friends and God’s angels.
Nash is survived by his parents; brother, Tyler; sister, Alyssa; his grandparents, Donald and Tina Britt and George and Joy Anousis; and many other loving relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be made at the funeral home.

Nash I love you. You are dancing with angels now. How sweet is that. You are watching over all of us now. How cool is that baby doll.
My daughter, granddaughter and Hubby, I know this is the hardest thing you have ever had to do or feel. Know that I am with you i feel your pain. I love you all.
May God bless your family in all this. Perhaps God will show you a bigger light in this. I know Gods love is shinning on you now in this pain.

Whenever Nash would come to the office, it was such a joy to see his chunky little cheeks and sparkling eyes. My heart just broke after I saw it on his carepage and had to read it a couple of times because I didnt want to believe. I couldnt wait till the lil guy got his heart so we could see him again in our office. Nash will be missed by all of the many he has touched. My heart goes out to you Anousis and Britt family. Dearest family, I'm sorry I am too far away to attend the funeral, but know you are in our prayers. Nash will always be with you. God's blessings upon you all and may He give you the comfort only He can.

So sorry for your loss. Nash fought hard but the Lord eased his pain and took him home. Now he can be a happy healthy baby. He earned his wings. Again so sorry for your loss

My deepest, and most sincere, sympathies and condolences go out to the family and friends of little Nash a/k/a Pockets. He brought so much joy and love to everyone he met, and he also got MUCH love and prayers from people who never knew this beautiful little Angel. Nash, you put up a big fight for such a little guy and although you might have lost the war to be here on Earth, you won your battle and as your Grandma Tina said, "earned your Angel wings" from the brave fight you did. You conquered so many things, and brought so many people together thru your love and your battle. You won your little war, in so many ways. Although we will never understand why you had to leave us so soon, you will forever be right here with us in our hearts, our minds, and our daily actions. I know God needed you for better things up there with Him. Have fun up there with all the loved ones that have gone before you, and touch your Mommy and Daddy's shoulders every now and then to let them know you're right there with them every day.
