Aileen G. Blades

Aileen Gertrude Blades, 93, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Aileen was born April 5, 1932, in Brighton, Iowa. She was full of kindness and grace, and she was also a prankster. Aileen experienced an abundance of love from family and friends. She enjoyed nature, gardening, picnics, fishing, camping, and most importantly, tormenting her grandkids and great grandkids. She was known for being a great cook, especially her homemade chicken and noodles.

She is survived by her loving children, Debra L. Kruzic, Robert “Tom” Blades (Deb), and Michelle Mascorella (Joe); grandchildren, Ben Kruzic, Emily Woodard (Rick), Amy Murch (David), Rocci Howe, Jr., and Joshua Howe; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Woodard, Chloe Woodard, Landon Murch, Keeley Murch, and Brynlee Murch; as well as many extended family and friends.

Aileen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Blades.

According to her wishes, cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time.
