Austin Michael Lloyd, 20, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Nebraska.

Austin was born on November 16, 2004, in Des Moines to Susan Lloyd and Anthony Curfman. He had a creative spirit and a kind heart, and he brought light to everyone around him. He loved music, anime, and video games—but most of all, he deeply loved his family.

Austin is survived by his mother, Susan Lloyd; father, Anthony Curfman; grandparents, Sherri Newell, Sandra Brewer, and Ronald Brewer; great-grandmother, Patti Crouse; siblings, Alex Bautista, Jasmine Curfman, and Jessa Curfman; aunts, Nichole, Sarah, Kaylee, Andrea, Kierra, and Janelle; uncles, Sean, Dylon, and Ryan Baker; and many beloved cousins: Logan, Lucas, Jordan, Jerome, Odin, Aryiah, Kinnick, and Jack. He also leaves behind his cherished dog, Gigi.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Four Mile Recreation, Des Moines, Iowa.
