Bruce Richard Porter, 63, of Clive, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Bruce was born September 6, 1962, to Dorothy and Richard Porter in Chula Vista, CA.

Bruce was known for his dedication to work and most recently was employed at The Toro Company. Bruce enjoyed nothing more than cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs, closely followed by the Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes. He was always the commissioner of fantasy football leagues and held that title proudly.

Bruce is survived by his children, Kara (Scott) Fowler and Matt (Jane) Porter; sister, Sheryl (Brian) Bell; and twin brother, Brian Porter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Richard (Dick) Porter.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in memory of Bruce.
