Betty Combs (Campfield), 81, passed away at her home in Stuart, Iowa on July 29th, 2026.
Born February 16th, 1945, in VanPort City, Oregon to Benjamin and Bessie Campfield, she was raised in Bondurant, Iowa.
She graduated from Bondurant-Farrar High School in 1963.
She lived in Dexter, Iowa most of her adult life where she raised four children.
During her life she worked as a Computer Librarian, Customer Service Manager for Wal-Mart, a bartender at Johnie's Tap in Stuart, and was a housekeeper at the Stuart Community Care Center.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Shawne Combs of Stuart; her brother, Richard Campfield (Jean) of Earlham, Iowa; daughters-in-law, Peggy Combs (Ron) of Prospect, Virginia, Jackie Combs (Randell) of Menlo, Iowa and Brandy Combs (Patrick); fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Bessie Campfield; three sons, Randell, Ronald, and Patrick (Jo) Combs; four sisters, Shirley, Frances, Joan, and Kathy; one brother, Benjamin (Butch) Campfield; and several nieces and nephews.
