Bonnie Faye Lundeen

Bonnie Faye Estrada Lundeen, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Bonnie was born November 19, 1941 to Bonifacio and Amy (Lind) Estrada in Minneapolis, MN. She was a resident of Minnesota for 71 years before moving to West Des Moines, IA 13 years ago. She was a member of First Free Church in Minneapolis and Valley E. Free Church in West Des Moines, IA.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Rev. Linton (Kristie) Lundeen and Nathan (Brenda) Lundeen; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Ben) Willcockson, Hannah (Jared) Bowman, Acacia (Dr. Tyler) Studer and Caleb Lundeen; great-granddaughters, Charleigh Willcockson and Lyla Bowman; great-grandsons, Tyson Studer and Parker Studer; and other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Lundeen; sisters, Juanita Caballero, Dorothy Hill and Geraldine (Penny) Milligan; brothers, Richard Estrada and Jon Estrada.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Valley E. Free Church, 4343 Fuller Road in West Des Moines. A private family burial at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines will follow the luncheon.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Bonnie to be designated to various charities that were close to her heart.
