In Loving Memory of Booker Allen Lefkow May 10, 2024 – May 16, 2025

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the passing of our sweet baby boy, Booker Allen Lefkow, who left this world far too soon. Booker took his last breath in the arms of his Mom and Dad after a hard week putting up a strong fight in the PICU at Blank Children’s Hospital. Though his time with us was brief, his impact was immeasurable.

From the moment he arrived, Booker radiated joy. He had big beautiful blue eyes and a smile that could light up any room. Booker brought pure happiness to everyone he met - he had never known a stranger.

Booker adored his Mommy and Daddy, and the love they shared was unbelievable. He spent his days giggling, snuggling, and playing with his wild labradors, Huxley and Hattie, who were never far from his side. He would search rooms looking for his cousins Evelyn, Ella and Gianna as they were his favorite friends to spend time with. His baby laughs filled the home, and his heart filled it with love and warmth. He found comfort snuggled up with his favorite monkey WubbaNub, as he rolled around the floor from room to room. There was never a quiet moment- his screeches and claps could always be heard around the house. Booker loved splashing in the pool and traveling to new states with his family, an adventurous little boy always happy to go with the flow. He was our sunshine, our joy, our sweet baby “Goose”.

Booker is survived by his loving parents, Alex and Parker Lefkow; grandparents, Kerri Allen (Lala), Richie Allen (Papa), Bruce and Elizabeth Lefkow (Paco and Nana); great-grandparents; aunts, uncles, cousins; and all those who had the privilege of knowing his gentle soul. Though our arms ache for him, our hearts are forever grateful for the time we got with him.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA with services following at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hug your loved ones tightly and share kindness in his memory. If called to donate, donations can be made to Blank Children’s Hospital in Booker Lefkow’s name.

See and feel Booker in your heart at any point you see a goose - know he is sending his love to you.
