Connie Enos-Farnum

Connie Jean Enos Farnum, 65, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Connie was born December 28, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Lois Lingle.

She had a compassionate heart and a genuine love for caring for people of all ages. Throughout her life, she operated an in-home daycare and later devoted herself to serving as an in-home caregiver for the elderly.

Connie’s favorite holiday was Christmas. She found great joy in celebrating with her family and spoiling them rotten! She loved nothing better than giving thoughtful gifts to those she loved.

Above all, she cherished the time spent with her loved ones, especially her sons and grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her husband, Orley “Sonny” Farnum; mother, Lois Lingle; sons, Robert “BJ” (Lisa) Enos and Charles (April) Enos; grandchildren, Austin Enos, Avery Enos, Carter Enos, and Caden Enos; sisters, Vickie (Jeff) Worthington and Debbie (Dave) Phillips; her furry four-legged friend, dog Teddy; as well as other loving relatives and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Lingle and her grandparents, Ruby and Glenn Barr.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2025, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, also at Hamilton’s, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
