Carol S. Fallis

Carol Sue Fallis, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Carol was born September 25, 1951, in Albia, Iowa to Frank and Leora (Robbins) Wright. She was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area. Carol earned her bachelor’s degree in social work and was employed by the City of Des Moines in the administrative field prior to her retirement.

Carol loved traveling and visited countless places, but Ireland and Scotland held special places in her heart. She was devoted to her family and treasured time spent with them.

She is survived by her daughter Stacey Fallis, son Kelly Fallis, grandchildren Jacy Signs, Justin Webb, Corin Fallis and Mia Hughes, great-grandson Liam, and her sister Nancy Klein.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, sister Patsy Nath and brother Dale Wright.

Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
