Carol Lynn Morris

Carol Lynn Morris, 64, passed away on October 30, 2025. Carol was born on November 7, 1960 in St. Petersburg, Florida – the daughter of Wanda (Kennedy) and James Sunter. She graduated from Northeast High School.

Carol was a giving and caring person – always looking out for others, friendly and personable. She was a devoted daughter - caring for her mother until her passing. Carol was a fantastic Mom and dedicated to her faith. She worked for her church for over 12 years, teaching Sunday School, coordinating summer programs for the children, and organizing the Fall Festival and Christmas Outreach programs. Carol’s immense love for molding youth carried over in both her professional life and the lives of her daughters and their friends. In her free time, Carol enjoyed craft projects, crocheting, painting and baking. To know Carol was to love her.

In 2021, with her health declining – she moved to Iowa to be closer to her family. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Amanda Adams, Jasmine Morris and spouse (Marcus) Williams, and Sharon (Phil Isbell) Morris; her grandchildren, Aiden Lott, Robert Morris, Devin Morris, and Aaron Isbell; her siblings, Steven Sunter and Joyce Spalek; niece, Barbra Faux; and nephews, John and William Brewer, Shawn Mark and Kevin Deviou.
