Catherine Ann Shannon, 94, passed away December 30, 2025.

She was born September 1, 1931 in Booneville, Iowa.

Catherine enjoyed reading and shopping.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Linda) Ferguson, Sheryl (Frank) Storms, and Karen (Steve) Winebrenner; five grandchildren, Michael Keller, Michelle Andrew, Joseph Thomas, Kimberly Ferguson, and Laura Figley; nine great grandchildren, Bailey Keller, Brooke Keller, Kerrine Keller, Joseph Andrew, Sophia Thomas, Gabriela Thomas, Marquis Burton, Matthew Figley, and Izzy Figley.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ferguson; daughter, Donna Howard; and her parents.

The family will greet friends Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
