Diane Dare
March 09, 1962 — July 08, 2025
Dianna (Diane) Dare, 63, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Mercy One Hospital. Though she faced ongoing health challenges, her passing came as a shock to those who loved her. Diane worked at O’Reilly’s Warehouse for 25 years and remained an active and dedicated employee. She was an avid Iowa State football fan, loved hunting for treasures in thrift shops, and rarely missed a game of Bingo at the Fraternal Order of Eagles – her favorite pastime.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Randy; her son, Michael; and their beloved dog, Tommy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kay and Richard McConkey.
Diane’s life was a blessing and the memories she leaves behind will be deeply cherished by all who knew her.

To know Dianna was to love her. Her kind heart and gentle ways made her a very special friend to me through the years. We spent a lot of summer days and nights watching our guys play softball. It was always a joy to visit together.
I am so sorry Dianna left us far too soon. Love to you, Randy, and to Michael, the two people she loved the most. Carry that love with you always.
I am praying for God's comfort and peace for you.
