Della Gertrude White

Della Gertrude White, 100 years of age, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Azria Health Park Place in Des Moines.

Della was born July 25, 1925, in Des Moines, Iowa to Leonida and Anna (Peel) Zagnoli. She was married to James W. White, who precedes her in death.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and step grandchildren.

In addition to her husband James, Della was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 612 E 18th Street, Des Moines, where she was a faithful member. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Saint Peter Catholic Church.
