We want to express our deepest sympathies to the Miller family. As neighbors we were allowed in to their outside gatherings where many great conversations occurred with Richard ,Maryann Dennis and all present. Our respect for Dennis and his brothers is deep after seeing how they cared for their Mother when she got sick-it was truly special and selfless.

I am so sorry to see this. Dennis was such a kind, loving, and appreciative man. Paula and I grew to love him from his many visits to our clinic. May his family find comfort in their memories and faith. I’m sure he will be sorely missed. 😢

I will miss Dennis. Laddie and I enjoyed our Sunday breakfast times at the Waveland with you and your beautiful Celeste. You two are a perfect couple of 29 years. We liked the vegetables you both shared with us and all your collections of yard art. You never got to taste my homemade pasta and we never had our contest of who makes the best pasta. You would of won. You have been promoted to your heavenly Kings palace. You are at peace now. We will watch over your Celeste for you. We will see you when we get promoted to paradise with you and our loved ones.

Every year my family and I would go up to Loon’s Nest Resort in Minnesota and we’d have the privilege of vacationing alongside Dennis and Celeste. He’d always be out fishing wayyy earlier than us, always catching bluegill and crappie. Just a super great guy that I’m so glad I got to meet. I really wish I’d gotten a chance to get to know him better and go fishing with him now that I’m older.

Dennis, we grew up as first cousins and neighbors, just across the alley. We shared a childhood at St. Anthony's School, Columbus Park and holidays, especially at Grandpa Mike's house. Family, Food and Neighbors in good times and bad. I thank God that you no longer suffer. I pray for your son and brothers. I pray for our parents and grandparents, relatives and neighbors who have gone before us, to welcome you in a place in heaven on the Southside of Des Moines in IA. Theresa

We are so sorry to learn of the passing of Dennis. We have enjoyed our visits with Dennis while spending time with Celeste. With members of our family being classic car owners and refurbishing them, we enjoyed our car talks and fishing stories. May God bless his memory. He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.
