Don Rowe

Donald R Rowe, 66, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. He was a father, a son, a brother, a veteran, and a man whose loud strength left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Don was born July 25, 1959 to his parents, Donald and Judy Rowe. He grew up alongside his siblings, George, Joe, and Tina. From a young age, his voice was often the loudest in the room and not just in volume, but in conviction, humor and heart.

Throughout his life, Don became a Marine, husband, father, and grandfather.

Don is survived by his brother, Joe; sister, Tina; sister-in-law, Dena (George); girlfriend, Janet; sons, Donald (Delaney Pierce) and David (Paige); and his two grandkids, Dawson and Paxton.

Although Don is no longer with us, his memory will continue in the hearts of his family and friends.

Celebration of life will be Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Experience Church, 2559 E Euclid Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with service starting at 11:00 a.m. and lunch to follow.

Burial will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, 34024 veterans memorial Drive in Adel. Graveside service will start at 11:00 a.m. Family is asking that guests please arrive at 10:45am.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family in loving memory of Don Rowe.
