Emily Hensley,43, passed away January 13, 2026 surrounded by her loving family members.

She was born October 24, 1982. Emily loved to be active and was involved in the special Olympics participating in softball, bowling, swimming. She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Emily enjoyed time with friends and family going out to eat, boating, glamping, and getting manicures. Emily would often be working on a word search, coloring books, playing a board game, or watching a good movie. She loved many things such as her cats, drinking soda, and living her life to the fullest. Emily’s love and light has left a lasting impact on those that knew her. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her mother, Teresa Hensley; sisters, Sarah Marquardt and Jessica Hensley; niece, Grace Marquardt; nephews, Phoenix Hensley and Carsen Burris; and special friends, Heather Omvig, Michael Wolnerman, and their families.

Emily was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Gwen Hall; cousin, Heather Asman; great uncle, Max Asman; and great aunt, Elaine Cooper.
