Enes Victor

Enes Josephine Victor (Travaini), 91, of Des Moines, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Methodist Down Town Hospital.

She was born April 3, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa, to Henry Travaini and Clorinda “Clori” Lucchesi. Enes was an avid gardener. She grew flowers and plants of all kinds. In her free time she enjoyed baking, volunteering at church and school, and practicing her faith. Enes was very proud of her Italian heritage. She was always extending a helping hand if someone was in need. Enes married the love of her life, Pete Victor, on November 10, 1962.

Enes was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Floyd (Pete) Victor; and brother, Daniel Travaini.

She is survived by her (honorary daughter), long time friend, and caregiver, Erica Cleaver; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her cat, Bella.

The family will be greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. Rosary on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home; 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Christ the King Catholic Church; 5711 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. Enes will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
