Gabriel Arciniega Anderlik

Gabriel “Gabe” Arciniega Anderlik, 27, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025.  He was born February 1, 1998 to Keith Anderlik and Joy Arciniega in Osage, Iowa.
Gabe graduated from Earlham High School in 2016.  Gabe had a gift for carpentry that began when he was 16 years old.  He was so grateful to be able to work alongside his family at Summit Trim for over 10 years.  He also worked for Nack & Associates and SMI in Osage for a short time.
Gabe had a contagious smile and boisterous personality.  He loved to make people laugh and was incredibly loyal to his family and friends.  Gabe enjoyed fishing, hunting, cuddling with his puppy, Axel, his limitless ice cream dates at the Whistle Stop in Lorimor, and of course riding his motorcycle.  He always cherished the time he was able to spend with those he loved.
Gabe is survived by his fiancé, McKenzie Decker; son, Jax; and his baby girl on the way, Elsie; mom, Joy (Jeff) Luke; dad, Keith (Jaime) Anderlik; siblings, Alex (Alex) Allamong and their children, Beau and Marlowe, Kaden (Morgan) Anderlik, Rachel Luke, and Kael Anderlik (Brooke Clarke); grandparents, Francisco (Angie) Arciniega, Steve and Roni Rae Anderlik, Terry (Cindy) Luke, Donna (Gary) Spencer, and John and Connie Knode; aunts and uncles, Teresa (Eric) Porter, Shawna (Jimmy) Maddux, Mark (Veronica) Arciniega, Francisco (Holly) Arciniega, Shanna (Nate) Hale, Amanda Anderlik (Dwight Selders), Casey (Anna) Knode, Jeremey (Misty) Frease, Chad (Dawn) Frease, Sheri (Dan) Bush, and Tashanta Spencer; along with a host of other family and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra “Angel” Arciniega.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday November 6, 2025 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.  Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday November 5, 2025 at the funeral home.

I have fun memories of working with Gabe as his math teacher at Earlham Middle School. I'm saddened to learn of his passing. I pray his family and friends will find comfort in Jesus during this time of loss.
