Glennis Nittler
January 26, 1938 — November 18, 2025
Glennis “GG” Nittler, 87, passed away November 18, 2025.
GG was born January 26, 1938 in Newton, Iowa to Cecil and Olive (Clark) Goforth. She loved to shop and have lunch with her girlfriends. Regular trips to the nail salon on Ingersoll kept her red carpet ready. Above all else, GG treasured time with her grandchildren and her pride and joy-Chang the Cat. There was never any need to question what might have been going through GG’s mind, she would tell you what she thought you needed to know regardless of the delivery platform.
GG is survived by her children, Jackie (Janet), Terry (Nikki) and Melissa (John); grandchildren, Brennan (Sierra), Maddie (Ramiro), Lannie (JD), Lexis, Chantz (Lexi), Keaton, Kynsie (Travis) and Kealie (Joey); great-grandchildren, Cienna, Rilen, Grayson, Easton, Jack, Tillie, Miya, Remii, London, Tallen, Bridger, Journi, Kooper, Mason, Odin, Phoenix, Bear, Wren and Hattie; great-great-grandson, Klay; brother, Cecil Dean (Joyce); brother-in-law, Bill; her four legged furry friend, her cat, Chang; and a host of other loving relatives and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; grandsons, Nicholaus and Austin, and daughter-in-law, Nancy.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in loving memory of GG.

My Aunt Glennis was a caring loving beautiful lady that would do anything for her family and friends. She was a strong woman and her strengths can be seen in all her generations of children she touched. As a believer in the Holy Spirit, I'm sure she is now back with Jack, her loving husband and finally seeing what we all hope to see in the future with God. Bless all who knew her as the hole in our hearts hurts now but will be mended with the love she has given all of us over the time we had with her. Prayers and love to all the family. God bless you all, Mark

Thinking of you all during this heartbreaking time. May the thought of her as an angel above watching over you all bring you peace.
