Greg Fagen

Gregory Lee Fagen, 72, passed away July 5, 2026.

He was born October 31, 1953 to his parents, Leland and Patricia Fagen. Greg was a member of the Cavalry Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed his time at Link Associates and loved the friends he made at the center. Greg loved spending time with his family, especially his sister, Bev and brother-in-law/best buddy, Lonn.

Greg is survived by sisters, Bev (Lonn) Peterman, Sally Fagen, and Mary Young; brothers, Jeff Fagen and Wes Fagen; nephews, Matthew (Jami) Rice, Joshua (Amy) Rice, Adam (Emma) Young, Andrew (Megan) Levy, Ethan (Moriah) Fagen, and Hunter Fagen; nieces, Amy (Brandon) Woolery and Kyle (Daniel) Yates; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tim Fagen; and great nephew, Callen Woolery.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Greg will be laid to rest following at Pine Hill Cemetery, 524 NW 54th Avenue in Des Moines.
