Gregory "Satch" Stevens

Greg “Satch” Stevens, 68, passed away on May 15, 2026 following a series of hard- fought medical battles.

Born and raised near Ogden, Iowa, he grew up on a family farm where he learned the resilience and resourcefulness that shaped his life. He married the love of his life, Bonnie, in April of 1980, and together they built a life grounded in devotion to family and perseverance.

A lifelong musician, Greg found joy in playing guitar and singing with local bands across Iowa. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family, never hesitating to take on difficult jobs or long hours to ensure they were cared for.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his children, Corey (Kristina), Jess (Mark), and Jake (Susie); his grandchildren, Mason, Winter, Owen, and Amzie; and his sisters, Gloria (Ron), and Angie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald; his mother, Delores; brother, Bradley; and sister, Theresa.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 4th, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to dark at the Ronald Good Shelter House located within Don Williams Recreation Area, 610 H Avenue, Ogden, Iowa. If you knew Greg and would like to wish him well, please come on over.
