Henry Etta "Spevie" Cataldo

Henry Etta “Spevie” Cataldo, 94, passed away at her home on May 3, 2025. She was born October 4, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Henry and Ava (Larimore) Buddenberg.
In 1982, she married the love of her life, Charlie Cataldo. Spevie loved sports, especially college and professional football and basketball. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback, Kansas City Chiefs and Indiana Fever fan. She also liked watching NASCAR. Spevie enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Ladies Classic Bowling League for 19 years. Spevie was also member of St, Ambrose Cathedral.
Spevie is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Charlie Cataldo; daughter, Jamie (Grant) Dickinson; daughter-in-law, Dee Sothman; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Linda Ferguson, Dee Ferguson and Debbie Ferguson; grandson, Grant K. Dickinson; and her sisters, Louise, Juanita and Anna Marie.
The family will greet friends Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Spevie will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery.
