Jessica Ann Heaberlin, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Jessica was born on August 9, 1979, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Jeff and Karen Harris. She later married Paul Heaberlin, and together they were blessed with a daughter, Isabelle. Jessica had a deep love for reading and a passion for online gaming, particularly enjoying Warframe and Fortnite through her online persona, Ekeve. Due to her love of gaming, she developed many lasting friendships and built a vibrant, welcoming community through Team Slay on Discord.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Heaberlin; daughter, Isabelle; father, Jeff Harris; two sisters; her dogs, Princess and Milo and cats, Rough, Tumble, and Mya; as well as many other family and friends including Team Slay.

Jessica was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Harris and her grandparents, John and Rita Post.

Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family to assist with unexpected expenses.
