Growing up, I didn’t know many people who still had their great-grandparents in their lives. That always made me feel incredibly lucky — almost set apart — because I had the chance not only to know mine, but to truly experience life with them.
When I was eight years old, I spent an entire summer with Grandma and Grandpa Tonsi. I’m sure I must have worn them out, but they never once let it show. They took me to the pool, brought me along on shopping trips, and spent hours playing games with me. It was a simple summer, but it was filled with so much love and joy. Those memories have stayed with me and always will.
One of my favorite things to share is that my great-grandpa lived to see my wedding day and even met my first child. That is a gift I will never take for granted. Having him there for such meaningful milestones in my life was incredibly special, and I will be forever grateful for that blessing.

Charles and Jimmy,
So sorry for your loss of Uncle Jimmy, he truly was one of the best. Tom and I so enjoyed our time with Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Mary when they were here. We always looked foward to their visits every winter.
I will always cherish my memories of the times we spent together throughout the years of growing up in our loving family. Hope you both and your families are well and know that we love you.
