My condolences to Janet’s family for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in knowing she has now been made whole, healthy and happy as she has been reunited with Dale, her parents and other family and friends who passed before her and were there to welcome her home.
Janet was my “across the street” neighbor. We really didn’t talk much until the last couple of years. Then Janet called me late one evening and we talked for hours. That was the first of many lengthy, late night calls (we were both night owls) which I came to thoroughly enjoy. Those calls covered a wide range of topics … politics, our families, our faith, the menagerie of animals she had growing up (I think the pet duck was my favorite), what Des Moines was like when she was growing up and enjoyed many laughs. She had such a great laugh!
Janet.. you will be missed by many. See you again one day my friend! ❤️

Janet was one of the most loving, joyous people I’ve ever met.She would talk to us for hours about her love for God, her Husband Dale, her beautiful step-daughters, her grandson and especially her childhood with her beloved family and many unique pets that she adored. I could listen to her stories forever.
My Mom Sharon and Janet became close a few years ago and ended up being like sisters. (Janet said, “She IS my sister” to me several times, very authoritative lol)
I’m thankful we were able to witness her unconditional love for Princess and Zooey her kitty children. She loved them so much and they both gave her so much happiness.
Janet will be missed and loved and honored for all she has done for others.
We want the family to have our condolences and if there is anything we could do to help, we are here.
Love you Janet ♥️
