Jeanine Kay Martin

Jeanine Kay Martin, age 72, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026, at home in her son Ike’s arms.

Jeanine was born July 14, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa to Eugene and Jeanette (Loggins) Harris. Jeanine loved her family above all else. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and family, gathering together for a meal that she cooked with grace and skill. Jeanine’s faith was a guiding force in her life and she was a very spiritual person. She enjoyed Bible study with her Prayer Sisters, sharing the Word of God with others.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Ike Harris (Marguerita); son, Gary Martin; her grandchildren, Jaylen, Tatyana, Malik, Israel, Rakim, Aiyana, and Noah; as well as other loving family and many friends.

Jeanine was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Jeanette Harris; and her son, Louis Martin.

There will be no formal services held at this time.
