Kathie Yancy

Kathie Yancy passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.  She was born on October 25, 1952 to parents Vinton and Delores Zuck.
She will always be remembered for being willing to help anyone who came to her with a need. She truly cared about the people in her life. Her biggest accomplishment was raising Elizabeth on her own.
She loved all animals, especially her dogs.  Sophie, Chelsea, Tippy, Cleo, Chester, and Annie were her close companions.  Her cat, Butch, was also a very loved companion.
Kathie loved to bake, especially cookies, quick breads, and pies.  She also loved sewing, crafts, and having plants around her. Camping and traveling were also hobbies she enjoyed.
Kathie was preceeded in death by her parents, Vinton and Delores, and nephew Dusty Zuck.
Those left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Myron Seeley; daughter Elizabeth (Mike) Schultz; stepson Matt Seeley; grandchildren, Nash, Lane, and Vada Seeley; and siblings, Cindi (Bill) Hildebrandt and Don Zuck.  She also will be remembered by her dogs, Ruby and Diesel, as well as her granddog Jeeves.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Heinz57 Animal Shelter in memory of Kathie.
