Kay E. Rosen passed away quietly and gracefully seven days after her 90th birthday on July 18, 2026.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2026, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway. Kay will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery. Guest are invited to return to Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway for a luncheon to be held immediately following the interment.

Kay is survived by her husband of 40 years, Matthew Rosen; her son, Kent Braynard; her daughter, Pamala Granzow (Jerry); her stepchildren, Gabriel Rosen and Cedar Golden; her grandson, Neal Buenz; and her great-grandson, Warner Buenz.

Born in Dayton, Iowa, Kay was one of eleven children of Pauline and Lindel Williams.

She treasured her relationships with all of her brothers and sisters. As the years drifted by, Kay took both solace and enjoyment in twice a year decorating the graves of her parents, siblings, and their spouses with floral arrangements.

Like clockwork, prior to the beginning of each month, Kay sent cards to family and friends—including their spouses and children—for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.

At the end of the day, Kay will always be remembered by all who knew her as a good, kind, and generous person who cared deeply for the welfare of others.

May God rest her soul.
