Kelly Jeanne Kurth

Kelly Jeanne Kurth Chambers of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at the age of 67.

She was born on June 15, 1959, in San Diego, California, to Galen and Gwendolyn Kurth of Bondurant, Iowa.

She will be remembered for her contagious smile, her love of Pepsi, and how she cherished every child. Kelly would brighten at the chance to spend time with children, especially her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Kelly is lovingly remembered by her parents; her two brothers, Galen (Mary) Kurth of Bondurant, IA, and Brett (Julie) Kurth of Waukee, IA; her sister, Julie (Kevin) Swint of Burlingame, CA; and many nephews, nieces, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

I was shocked to see this about Kelly. My deepest condolences goes out to Kelly's family. Kelly and I played together as little kids. Your family lived right behind us. I talked to Galen some time ago, on messenger. I've always wondered how Kelly was. My dad still lives in our house. My mom passed 10 years ago. RIP Kelly.
